Thunderbolts opens in the top spot this weekend with £5,979,242. Taking £1,001,493 from previews, the opening was the 4th best opening of the year behind Captain America: Brave New World. It was 7% behind Captain America’s opening from February. It is already the 10th top grossing film of the year behind Mickey 17. It was also the 6th widest release of the year on 669 screens.
Bluey At The Cinema: Let’s Play Chef Collection was the second best opening this weekend, way back in 7th place with £179,176 despite 513 screens, the 29th widest of the year. Retro was just behind that with £163,36 and Hit: The Third Case followed in 9th place, opening to £150,66.
Elsewhere, Sinners drops only 23% in it’s 3rd week pushing it’s total up to £10,618,274 and the 7th best film of the year behind Disney's Snow White. The Minecraft Movie pushes it’s total gross up to £53,303,536 after 5 weeks on the chart.
