The UK box office softened this weekend, with the top 15 titles generating £10,828,496, a 10% drop from last week. Even so, a trio of major new releases reshaped the upper chart, while several long‑running performers crossed notable milestones.

Scream 7: £3,828,308; 595 screens; Week 1.Includes £541,483 from 514 previews. The second‑best opening of the year so far, despite being only the 7th widest release. Its debut sits just ahead of Scream VI’s £3,828,308 opening in 2023, which went on to finish at £7,718,688. With 35% of the entire top 15, it dominated the market.


Wuthering Heights: £2,238,429; 757 screens; Week 3; down 42%.A strong hold for a prestige title in its third frame. Its £20,777,747 total lifts it to the 316th highest‑grossing film ever in the UK, now sitting just behind Rise of the Planet of the Apes.


EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert: £1,877,687; 637 screens; Week 1.Includes £737,544 from 53 previews. The 6th best opening of the year, landing just behind Hamnet. A robust event‑cinema launch with a heavy preview share.


Goat: £903,254; 651 screens; Week 3; down 67%.A steep drop after last week’s surge, though its £11,813,068 total remains one of the year’s standout cumulative performers.


Crime 101: £411,606; 461 screens; Week 3; down 46%.Total now £3,727,467, continuing a steady mid‑table run.


The Secret Agent: £180,833; 174 screens; Week 2; down 57%.Fall‑off without previews is 27%, indicating a more stable underlying hold than the headline drop suggests. Total now £754,081.


Zootropolis 2: £179,294; 497 screens; Week 14; down 74%.Now at £36,007,026, it climbs to 6th place on the 2025 yearly chart, overtaking Jurassic World Rebirth. It should surpass Lilo & Stitch next weekend. On the all‑time chart it rises to 127th, just behind Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.


The Audience – NT Live 2026 (Theatre): £176,995; 258 screens; Week 2.A solid second‑week performance for a theatrical event title, now at £535,386.


Pegasus 3: £165,773; 93 screens; Week 1.Includes £19,143 from 15 previews. A compact but efficient launch for the franchise.


The Testament of Ann Lee: £162,736; 182 screens; Week 1.Includes £63,655 from 13 previews. A modest but respectable debut for a Disney‑distributed drama.


Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined (Concert): £157,710; 189 screens; Week 2.Total now £413,743, continuing the strong run of music‑driven event cinema.


Sirat: £146,108; 76 screens; Week 1.Includes £53,870 from 54 previews. A preview‑heavy start for a targeted release.

Zootropolis 2 continues its extraordinary endurance, climbing to 127th all time and rising on the yearly chart.

Goat remains one of the year’s strongest cumulative performers despite a sharp weekend drop.

Hamnet posts one of the best holds in the top 15, maintaining long‑tail prestige appeal.
